Hello, I am Paul Stickland and I am an author, illustrator and designer of children's books, picture books and pop up books.
I love the disciplines of paperfolding and paper engineering and have been lucky to spend many years learning my craft and exercising it through the medium of children's books.
This blog is to gather together all the fabulous paper works that I have found on my researches into this ancient craft.

If you love pop up books, paper engineering, papercraft, origamic architecture, paper sculptures, curved folding, craft robo, or just love messing about with scissors, scalpel, paper and glue, or have got a crazy inventive mind which just can't help creating wonderful pop-ups, or sculptural pieces, then this is the place for you!

One of the best things about my job is the opportunity to visit schools, libraries and festivals, giving author visits and pop up workshops for children of all ages.
Children love Pop up books and messing about with paper and scissors and I have great fun helping children of all ages to get started with paper engineering.
So I have created another new blog, PopUps! to showcase some of the wonderful work created in these pop up workshops.
